Ladies,
Let's see if we can come up with some great fundraising ideas for the summer and fall months. I know there are some bracelets that the hospital are selling for $1 each. Let's see if each lady can sell one box of candy or 5 bags of onions. As always keep on saving your can tabs. The men are discussing doing a "poker run" event in Pelzer and Williamston but I am not sure when this is going to take place - I don't think even they know yet or maybe Daniel is just slow to tell me things! Keep in touch thru the blog comments and let's see if we can come up with some great ideas!

Save Aluminun Can Tabs!!!
Save all your can tabs! Encourage other family members to save their can tabs! Money made from the can tabs will be used for patient transportation to and from the hospital.

I'll spare everyone the cheesy 'classic' quotes the men use... Looking forward to fun and fellowship and helping our Shriner's Children!!!

We are gearing up for another great parade season....with a few new tricks up our sleeves....

The men are participating in 5 parades as follows:
Friday December 5 - Hickory Tavern 7pm
Saturday December 6 - Honea Path 11am
Pelzer 3pm
Sunday December 7 - Anderson 3pm
Saturday December 13 - Williamston 3pm

The Classic Cartigans are really looking forward to the holiday season. Santa is on their minds almost all of the time.

Don't forget the Shrine Bowl on December 20!

Inspiration Meeting at Pelzer Lodge #217

The Pelzer Lodge hosted the district's inspirational meeting this past Thursday. The night consisted of fellowship, a great meal, and a moving devotion. Attendance included at least one member of each lodge in the district. Charles E. Hood, District Deptuty Grand Master, resided over the meeting.

Wow! Life has been busy and the time has flown by!!! We are gearing up for the summer already... now if only the weather would cooperate with us! We have many things bumping around in our heads for events for this summer. We will post as details are planned.

One thing we want to do is sell items. So far, this one item is a handmade bag. Price is $15. Will work with buyer on shipping, if needed.
